This mug cozy…

… is making me so ridiculously happy !

I love every single detail:

- Love the Lett-lopi yarn. I hated to knit with, but crocheting it was a dream.

- Love the flashing orange. I was not sure about adding orange, but it’s finnally the best part of this cozy.

- Love the wooden button I bought in a flea market.

- Love the fact I don’t need coasters anymore

New cowl

New cowl, the sweatest thing ever, in Malabrigo yarn and raveled here…. I wanted good photos of it because I was writing a pattern, so I asked my boyfriend… He gave me this:

(Sorry, don’t want to be reconnized on those pictures). I really try to use them, but it was impossible. So I asked him a second photoshot.

So much better, isn’t it ?

First cowl(s) in 2012

I said that I would knit some other cowls in 2012, and I was thinking about knitting for me, as usually. But my first cowl was for my BFF.

Something warm and bulky, just as she wanted.

Her first cowl. I was happy she wanted something “with biiig stitches”, because it was so a very fast knit. Raveled here.

And as she was so excited discovering cowls and liked seaming, she decided to make me (and her, and her mother) some seamed cowls.

I don’t want to show the final result because I don’t have any good picture they are not as amazing as I was expecting. The fabric (cotton) was really a good choice, the seaming was really well done, but… they are curling. We chose a width of 20 cm, and it’s not width enough. Next one will be perfect.

What I’ve been knitting in 2011

Three cardigans. In 2011, I started knitting cardis I actually wear.

Four hats. Two of them were gifts, one was for practising stranded knit and became a pattern, and one was just for me.

Three cowls. Three time the same pattern, as I was discovering this amazing accessory. I’ve been discovering cowls in 2011, and I’ll definitly knit some others in 2012.

Two crocheted stuff. In 2011, I also decided to learn crochet.

And few other things…
