J’ai commencé par une paire pour chéri.
First, I made a pair for my boyfriend.
J’ai enchaîné avec une paire pour moi, mais je me sens dedans comme dans des chaussettes, je vais les réserver pour mes invités.
Then, a pair for myself. But as they feel like socks, they’ll be for my guests.
J’ai utilisé tous mes restes de lopi de couleur, j’arrive à 25 carrés. Reste à voir comment les agencer. J’ai utilisé ce modèle, super simple.
I used all my coloured lopi leftovers, which make 25 grannies. I used this pattern.
Je viens de finir deux projets qui s’inscrivent parfaitement dans ma politique actuelle de vider (ou du moins de diminuer) les stocks de laine.
Le premier est un châle au crochet qui a utilisé les 4 pelotes de noro que j’avais acheté sur un coup de tête, et le second une chaussette de mug pour un mug que j’utilise tous les jours au boulot, et qui est de si mauvaise qualité qu’il a bien besoin d’aide pour tenir mon thé au chaud. La chaussette a utilisé les quelques mètres qui restaient du châle, trop peu pour faire un rang au crochet, et je l’ai finie avec un peu de mérinos qui avait par chance l’exacte couleur de la fin de la pelote sombre de noro. Comme ça, je n’en ai pas perdu un cm ! Le charmant petit bouton vient des laines du mouchon.
I achieved 2 stah-buster projects, the first was a shawl that used 4 skeins of noro I ordered because they were nice, and the second is a mug cozy for a mug I use every working day.The second used the few meters left from my the shawl, plus some of a merino yarn leftover. I was lucky the merino yarn was the exact color of the end of the dark noro skein, so I just made a russian join between them, and the junction is totally invisible.The button is from Les laines du mouchon.
As of late, I have a lot of work, and some trouble with knitting sweaters, so I just knit hats. The fact that I don’t wear hats, and that no one among my friends / my family actually wear hats is not a problem. I want instant gratification, and socks and mittens are just boring because I have to knit a pair.

A pair of socks for me, because I really needed some warm socks to just stay at home.
A headband out of some Kauni yarn leftovers.
And another hat, that I like a lot but that is a little too tight around the head because of the colorwork part.
First one, took on the days following our moving.
Second, a view of Corsica island, took at 7 a.m. a winter morning. A little bit out of focus, but it was 7, I just wanted to go back to bed.
And at last, the day the sea diseappeared :
I just moved house. Well, a few days ago, but I just get internet today.
